Product Information: Pure Loose Leaf Tea USDA Organic Certified 60 Cups Caffeine: Mostly QAI Organic Certified Origin: Assam, a tea-growing region in India, is highly regarded for producing some of the world's finest black tea. Assam tea has a flavorful aroma with a rich malty note. Assam is one of the largest tea-producing regions, bordering China, Myanmar, and Bangladesh. Assam tea was discovered by the Singpau tribe residing in North Assam. They are known as the first people to use tea as both a herb and a beverage. How to Use: Pick fresh leaves and dry them in warm air for several hours to reduce moisture. Once the leaves become suitablely pliable, gently roll them. As the leaves begin to oxidize (changing from green to a darker color), the flavor intensifies. Finally, roast the leaves in an oven.
